| The Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES) was formally established in July 1966 as the national society of engineers in Singapore. Corporate Membership of IES signifies recognition of engineering experience and accomplishments. IES maintains close links with professional organisations of engineers throughout the world. Its website contains information about itself, its membership, events, publications, awards and different groups catering to specific members'interests. Access to its directory, magazine and e-newsletter requires a member's log-in. A forum, photos and relevant links are provided. The IES Academy, provider of practical engineering knowledge and life-long training for engineers and technical personnel in Singapore, and the Engineering Accrediation Board (EAB)are also featured. | |
